What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the solution architecture for IT systems supporting the Commercial Sales organization. It includes defining the architecture vision, creating technology roadmaps, and ensuring IT strategies are aligned with business objectives. The Solutions Architect will work closely with partners to gather requirements, design architectural blueprints, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and consistent with enterprise standards. This role also involves evaluating technology options, designing end-to-end solutions across CRM, sales automation, and integration platforms, and ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term commercial goals. The architect will contribute to the broader enterprise architecture strategy, provide guidance on technology decisions, and ensure that all IT initiatives adhere to established architectural principles. Additional responsibilities include ensuring solution interoperability, driving platform standardization, and supporting system lifecycle planning across core commercial platforms

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Create and maintain architectural roadmaps that guide the evolution of IT systems and capabilities
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and governance frameworks
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the enterprise/domain/solution architecture
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring that IT systems are scalable, secure, and resilient
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, including principles, standards, and models
• Drive continuous improvement in the architecture by finding opportunities for innovation and efficiency
• Work with partners to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that solutions meet both business and technical needs
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that best fit the solution requirements
• Ensure seamless integration between systems and platforms, both within the organization and with external partners
• Design systems that can be scaled to meet growing business needs and performance demands
• Develop and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models to support business needs
• Establish and enforce data standards, governance policies, and best practices
• Design and manage metadata structures to enhance information retrieval and usability

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years Computer Science, IT or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills

• Experience Strong understanding of CRM technologies, including Salesforce, and platforms such as AWS and Databricks.
• Experience with system integration, including API design and tools like Mulesoft.
• Experience working in Agile and SAFe methodologies, including Product Team structures.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to create and demonstrate proof-of-concept solutions to validate technical feasibility.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Life Sciences Cloud CRM implementations.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience in developing differentiated and deliverable commercial IT solutions.

Professional Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred)

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer – Professional (preferred)
• Salesforce Certified System Architect (preferred)
• Certified SAFe Architect (preferred)
• TOGAF Certification (preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong transformation and change management experience.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated awareness of how to function in a team setting
