About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support our Human Resources operations with a strong focus on statutory compliance, contractor management, and BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in HR administration and a clear understanding of compliance frameworks applicable to the construction/manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statutory Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain and update statutory compliance registers under applicable labour laws (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, BOCW, etc.).
  • Ensure timely remittance and filing of statutory returns.
  • Coordinate with consultants and government departments for compliance audits and inspections.
  • Handle contractor documentation, labour license renewals, and site-level statutory records.

2. BOCW Compliance

  • Ensure compliance under BOCW Act & Rules (registration, cess payment, and returns).
  • Maintain BOCW welfare board records and assist in worker welfare schemes.
  • Monitor safety, welfare, and benefits documentation for site workers.

3. HR Operations & Employee Management

  • Assist in employee onboarding, attendance tracking, and payroll coordination.
  • Maintain employee personal files, leave records, and statutory registers.
  • Support grievance redressal, employee engagement, and exit formalities.

4. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with site HR/admin teams for compliance and manpower updates.
  • Prepare and submit HR & compliance reports to management on a monthly basis.
  • Liaise with external vendors, labour contractors, and auditors as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate / MBA / PGDM in HR or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in HR operations with exposure to compliance & BOCW activities.
  • Knowledge: Labour laws, BOCW Act, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and other statutory requirements.
  • Skills:
  • Strong documentation & coordination skills.
  • Good communication (verbal & written) English, Hindi and Marathi.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing sector.
  • Prior exposure to labour compliance audits or contractor management.

Compensation:

As per industry standards and candidate experience.
