Role Overview

The Lab Instructor & Technical Coordinator will manage and operate the
Psyclinic AI Simulation Lab
, supporting psychology students and faculty in using AI-powered clinical psychology tools, virtual patients, simulations, and analytics dashboards. This role bridges
clinical psychology education and applied AI technology
.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Lab Instruction

  • Conduct
    hands-on lab sessions
    for UG/PG Psychology students using
    Psyclinic AI
  • Guide students on:
  • AI-based patient simulations
  • Clinical interviews & assessment workflows
  • Emotion analysis, behavioral markers, and reports
  • Support faculty during
    practical exams, demos, and workshops
  • Maintain lab manuals, SOPs, and student assessment rubrics

Technical Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain:
  • Psyclinic AI software & dashboards
  • AI simulation environments
  • Audio/video devices (mic, webcam, headsets)
  • Basic troubleshooting:
  • System issues, network, browser, AI app errors
  • Coordinate with Psyclinic AI product/tech team for updates and fixes
  • Ensure data privacy, access control, and ethical AI usage

Lab Operations

  • Day-to-day management of
    AI Simulation Psychology Lab
  • System health checks & backups
  • Assist in
    research projects, case studies, and pilot programs
  • Help organize
    AI in Psychology workshops, FDPs, and student demos

Required QualificationsMandatory

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in:
  • Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology
  • OR
  • Computer Science / AI / Data Science (with psychology exposure)
  • Strong interest in
    AI applications in mental health
  • Comfortable teaching students in a lab environment

Technical Skills (any combination)

  • Familiarity with:
  • AI/ML concepts (basic understanding is enough)
  • Web-based dashboards & tools
  • Audio/video capture tools
  • Bonus:
  • Python basics
  • FastAPI / Django exposure
  • AI models for speech, emotion, or vision

Preferred

  • Experience as:
  • Psychology Lab Instructor
