Role Description

We are looking for a Social & Content Operations Intern to support and progressively own social and content execution for client accounts. This is a hands-on role for someone curious about how strategy becomes content and genuinely interested in creating and working with Instagram reels and short-form video.

You will work closely with senior team members, designers, and editors, gaining real exposure to content planning, social workflows, and video-first storytelling.

Why this role exists

This role exists to run day-to-day social execution for a client account while keeping communication, timelines, and delivery tight. Your work will enable strategic and creative work to stay sharp and on track. You'll be the bridge between the client, content, and creative execution.

What you'll do

1. Social execution and calendar ownership

2. Take ownership of the weekly and monthly social calendar for a client account with guidance from a senior team member

3. Plan posts across relevant platforms
4. Draft captions and copy based on briefs and inputs
5. Ensure content is reviewed, approved, and published on time

6. Maintain a clear tracker of what is live, upcoming, and pending

7. Reels and short-form video execution

8. Support ideation, scripting, and structuring of Instagram reels

9. Assist with filming, trimming, formatting, or assembling reels where comfortable
10. Help adapt long-form or static content into reels

11. Coordinate with editors and creators to keep reel workflows moving

12. Client servicing and coordination

13. Progressively take on client communication starting with sharing calendars and updates

14. Act as a point of contact for day-to-day coordination with senior oversight
15. Capture client feedback and translate it into clear action items
16. Coordinate with designers, editors, and internal team members

17. Follow up to ensure changes are implemented correctly

18. Content support and repurposing

19. Adapt content across platforms for length, tone, and format

20. Repurpose existing assets into multiple posts

21. Ensure copy and visuals stay on brand

22. Social hygiene and reporting

23. Maintain a simple tracker of posts and engagement

24. Share periodic summaries on what is working

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 years of experience including relevant internships, academic projects, or personal content work
• Comfortable coordinating with designers, editors and clients
• Able to track basic performance metrics and summarize learnings clearly
• Proficiency in creative tools or platforms relevant to content and social media creation
• Strong interest in creating Instagram reels and short-form video
• Comfortable appearing on camera or working behind the scenes on reels
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Clear written communication and willingness to learn

Nice to have

• Experience creating reels for personal, campus, or brand pages
• Familiarity with tools like Instagram, CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar
• Prior campus, creator, or early client-facing exposure
