Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai for an Appium Mobile Tester. The Appium Mobile Tester will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications, identifying and resolving defects, performing manual testing as needed, and ensuring the seamless integration of test automation into the development process. The role will also involve collaborating with the development team to enhance product quality and providing timely reporting on application performance and testing progress.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mobile Application Testing and Automation Tools like Appium, Selenium, and similar frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in scripting languages for automation such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Manual Testing practices, including test strategy development, test case creation, and defect tracking.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of Mobile Platforms such as iOS and Android, including operating systems and application lifecycle.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments and performance testing tools is a plus.
