JOB TITLE: Business Analyst Digital Wallet Implementation JOB TYPE: WFO/Client location

LOCATION: Mumbai

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Requirements Analysis

  • Collaborate with clients, wallet partners, and internal teams to elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements for digital wallet integration.
  • Analyze API specifications (ISO 8583, RESTful APIs) and translate them into actionable requirements for development and QA teams.
  • Work closely with architects to ensure alignment of business needs with technical design, especially around Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES), Visa Token Service (VTS), ID&V flows, and fraud mitigation.

Integration & Data Mapping

  • Define and document data mapping for card payment processing, token provisioning, and mobile wallet workflows.
  • Support API integration efforts by preparing interface contracts, payload structures, and validation rules.
  • Assist in troubleshooting integration issues by analyzing logs, payloads, and error codes.

Process Design & Documentation

  • Create detailed process flows, sequence diagrams, and system interaction models for wallet provisioning, certification, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain traceability matrices linking business requirements to technical specifications and test cases.

Stakeholder Engagement & Agile Delivery

  • Act as a key liaison between business, technology, and compliance teams to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to support Agile delivery.
  • Support project managers in risk identification, dependency tracking, and milestone reporting.

Testing & Certification Support

  • Define UAT scenarios and acceptance criteria based on business and technical requirements.
  • Assist in lab testing and certification processes with wallet providers, clients and Global Network, ensuring compliance with functional and security standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications & Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of card payment systems, ISO 8583, REST APIs, and tokenization technologies.
  • Experience working with Visa Token Service (VTS), issuer APIs, Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) and mobile wallet provisioning.
  • Ability to interpret and document complex technical flows and business logic.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies preferred.

Proficiency in tools like Postman, Swagger, JIRA, Confluence, and BPMN modeling tools preferred.
