We are urgently looking for Business Development Associate (Client Connect) location based at Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain long-term, value-based relationships with clients i.e. Founders & Promoters.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients across investment banking services.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs, business models, and strategic objectives.
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue new clients and investment opportunities through industry research and networking.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client outreach.
Client Intelligence & Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends, deal activity, and client developments to proactively identify opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client intelligence and relationship maps using CRM systems.
- Prepare internal briefings and client strategy documents for senior leadership.
CRM & Reporting:
- Maintain and update client interaction logs and pipeline trackers in CRM tools.
- Generate periodic reports on client engagement, pipeline status, and business development metrics.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Networking & Communication: Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders.
- Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to market and sell financial products and services, and to negotiate complex deal terms.
- Strong understanding of investment banking and capital markets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- 2–7 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, consulting, or a client-facing business development role.
- Strong commercial acumen with a client-first mind-set.
Travel: 20% travel included
- Working hour: 10am – 7pm
- Days: 5.5 Days (Alternate Sat and All Sun are off)
- Communication Skills: Exceptional Communication & Convincing skills
- Qualification: Bachelors or Masters from Marketing, Sales or related field
