Position Overview:
Boeing Defense India team is currently looking for Senior Program Manager to support the P-8I Sustainment Programs for the Defence customers in India. This role will be based out of INS Rajali, India.
The Senior Manager reports to the Managing Director who is responsible for managing the Profit and Loss in a way that aligns with the strategic direction of BGS, BDS and BGS-GS business units.
Position Responsibilities:
- The Senior Program Manager drives the development of the BDI business objectives and strategies and is responsible for ensuring the success of the Programs through flawless execution of customer-facing contracts and capture of growth opportunities to build a sustainable business base.
- This role will form part of the Boeing Defense India Leadership Team and will also play a pivotal role in supporting continued regional expansion of Boeing's business interests.
- This role will be the primary point of escalation for customer communication and will have significant external facing responsibilities.
- The Senior Manager will need to integrate across Boeing and other business entities in the region to ensure that the best of Boeing is applied to all business activities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Certification in Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent is required as a BASIC Qualification .
- A minimum of 20 years total experience with at least 5 years of work experience related to Government / defense programs or services.
- Business level English language ability
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, an ability to inspire, drive and lead a team across multiple sites and demographics
Preferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience):
- Work Experience with MOD on defense related programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage at multiple levels both internally and externally to the company.
- Work Experience with a global MNC.
- An understanding and appreciation of Indian cultural norms, and particularly an ability to interact successfully with Indian Defense customer representatives.
- Excellent business acumen, and preferably demonstrated experience in running a profit and loss business.
- Well-developed communication skills at an executive level and an ability to clearly, concisely and effectively develop and communicate strategic intent.

Typical Education & Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 21 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 20 years' related work experience.

- This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
