Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located at our Chennai office for a Senior Accountant and Subject Matter Expert (SME). The role involves managing and overseeing complex accounting processes, reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering accurate financial reports. The Senior Accountant & SME will provide guidance to team members, assist clients with financial decision-making, and ensure a high standard of operational excellence. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, leveraging technical tools for efficiency, and engaging with cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards
  • Experience in managing end-to-end accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll processing
  • Analytical skills for reviewing financial data, conducting variance analysis, and preparing detailed reports
  • Expertise in accounting software, ERP systems, and technology platforms for process optimization
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills to guide and support team members effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Relevant experience in the Hospitality, Real Estate, or other service industries is desirable
