Role Description

Shiash Info Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The Senior Accountant will handle tasks such as managing financial statements, analyzing financial reports, preparing budgets, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role also includes supporting audits, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain financial stability and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Proficiency in tax compliance, auditing, and regulatory requirements
  • Expertise in accounts management, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Solid understanding of accounting software tools and Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are a plus
  • Experience in the IT or infrastructure sector is advantageous
