Department: Sales & Business Development
Experience: 49 years (preferably in Freight Forwarding / Logistics)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Business Development be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting pricing activities. The candidate should have basic knowledge of ocean freight pricing and a keen interest in driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for freight freight.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
- Coordinate with the pricing team to prepare quotations and proposals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of freight products, services, and industry trends.
- Negotiate with clients while ensuring profitability and service excellence.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Graduate
- 4–9 years of experience in sales/business development in logistics or freight forwarding (ocean/Air freight preferred).
- Basic understanding of ocean freight pricing and rate structures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and convert leads into business.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
