Position: AI Physics Evaluator

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $20 - $30 per hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Part-time (20 hours per week), flexible

Role Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate scientific correctness, conceptual rigor, and depth of AI-generated responses across physics and engineering topics.
  • Review and assess outputs involving mathematical modeling, experimental methods, and theoretical frameworks.
  • Identify factual inaccuracies, reasoning flaws, and conceptual gaps in large language model (LLM) outputs.
  • Benchmark and analyze model performance on complex, graduate-level physics and applied engineering problems.
  • Work independently using proprietary evaluation tools in a fully remote, asynchronous setup.

Requirements :

  • PhD (or PhD candidate) in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong grasp of graduate-level physics and advanced mathematical reasoning.
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in remote research settings.
  • Proficiency in Python for scientific analysis and evaluation tasks is mandatory.
