About Role:

We are seeking an experienced
MFT / Accord FT Engineer
to manage, support, and optimize our
Managed File Transfer (MFT)
environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Axway SecureTransport (Accord FT)
or similar MFT platforms, ensuring secure, automated, and compliant file exchanges across multiple business systems and external partners.

This role requires a strong technical background in
file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S)
,
integration scripting
, and
server administration (Windows/Linux)
. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting file transfer workflows, while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and support
    Axway / Accord FT (Managed File Transfer)
    platform for enterprise-wide file transfers.
  • Develop and manage
    file transfer workflows, routing rules, and partner connections
    .
  • Monitor and troubleshoot file transfer issues, ensuring SLA compliance and minimal downtime.
  • Manage
    encryption keys, SSL/TLS certificates
    , and ensure secure data transfer practices.
  • Implement and maintain
    automation scripts
    for file movement and process orchestration (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Collaborate with integration, network, and application teams to onboard new partners and systems.
  • Manage and maintain
    IIS FTP sites
    , user permissions, and service configurations (for Windows-based environments).
  • Maintain audit logs, reports, and ensure
    compliance
    with enterprise security and data privacy standards (ISO, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Participate in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities.

  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 operational support for all MFT-related incidents and service requests.

  • Key Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in
    Managed File Transfer (MFT)
    or
    Accord FT / Axway SecureTransport / Axway Gateway
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    file transfer protocols
    — FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, AS2, or PeSIT.
  • Working knowledge of
    encryption and security
    technologies (PGP, SSL, SSH keys, certificates).
  • Familiarity with
    Windows Server and/or Linux administration
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    Microsoft IIS
    , FTP configuration, and SSL binding.
  • Exposure to
    integration and middleware
    systems (e.g., ERP, banking, or enterprise interfaces).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving transfer, network, or permission issues.
  • Good understanding of
    ITIL processes
    (Incident, Change, Problem management).
