Position Overview:

As a
Product Manager
, you will drive the success of tax and finance technology products throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans. Your expertise in tax compliance, finance workflows, and emerging technologies will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative, customer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision

Define the product strategy and vision based on market research, customer insights, and business objectives.

Identify market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and drive product innovation and differentiation.

Roadmap Planning and Prioritization

Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals.

Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.

Requirements Gathering and Documentation

Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and engineering teams, to gather and document product requirements.

Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications with precision.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.

Facilitate effective communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across all functions.

Agile Product Development

Lead agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.

Drive iterative product improvements through collaboration with development teams.

Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborating with marketing and sales teams on messaging, positioning, pricing, and sales enablement.

Coordinate successful product launches to ensure widespread adoption.

Product Performance Analysis

Monitor product performance metrics, analyze customer feedback, and assess market trends.

Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

Customer Advocacy

Act as the voice of the customer, conducting user research and advocating for customer-centric product decisions.

Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs.

Requirements

Experience:

8+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably within tax, finance technology, or SaaS platforms.

Proven track record in launching and scaling complex, regulated technology products.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of tax compliance systems and finance workflows.

Proficiency in product management tools, user story mapping, and prototyping.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Preferred:

Familiarity with AI, IoT, or automation technologies within the tax or finance domain.
