Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and student-focused Overseas Education Consultant to guide students through the process of studying abroad. The role involves counseling students on international education opportunities, assisting with university applications, and coordinating visa documentation to ensure successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students on study abroad options including country, course, university, and career pathways.
  • Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities and programs.
  • Guide students through the application process, including SOPs, LORs, CVs, and admission documentation.
  • Assist with student visa processes, documentation, and interview preparation.
  • Coordinate with international universities and partner institutions for admissions and offers.
  • Track applications, offers, enrollments, and maintain accurate student records.
  • Support students and parents through pre-departure orientation.
  • Achieve monthly enrollment and conversion targets.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of study destinations (Malaysia, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.).
  • Familiarity with admission procedures, visa guidelines, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple student applications simultaneously.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a student-centric approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
  • 1–5 years of experience in overseas education consulting (freshers may apply for junior roles).

Entry Level (0–2 Years)

Role: Junior Overseas Education Consultant / Counselor

Freshers & beginners often start at ~₹12,000–₹18,000 per month, based on job listings.

Incentives: Often performance/commission bonuses based on student conversions.

Mid Level (3–5 Years)

Role: Overseas Education Consultant / Counselor

Typical Monthly Pay: ₹18000 – ₹30,000

Incentives & Performance Bonuses: Variable — can significantly increase earnings.

Senior Level (7+ Years)

Role: Senior Consultant / Team Lead / Senior Counselor

Monthly Take-Home: ₹30,000 – ₹50000

Commission & Incentives:

Often a larger portion of total pay with leadership/target responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹50,000.00 per month
