Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Design Engineer located in Chennai. The Solar Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar power systems, preparing project layouts, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation, and overseeing installations to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in solar system design, project layouts, and system modeling tools
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, energy calculations, and grid integration
  • Knowledge of industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, and feasibility studies
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • Professional experience in solar design or solar energy projects is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project stakeholders
