Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Accounts Intern to support our accounting department. The intern will assist the current accountant in day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in record-keeping and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records and bookkeeping.
- Support in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
- Help with bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Coordinate with the accountant for audits and compliance tasks.
- Perform other administrative tasks related to accounting as needed.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
