Job Responsibilities

• Expertise in electrical design of SPM machines, Heavy equipment and large Electromechanical systems using Auto Cad Electrical software
• Good understanding with General arrangement and creating Electrical schematics
• Knowledge of Control panel design, Safety circuit design, Servo motors & Drives selection.
• Knowledge of PLC IO mapping, Field Wiring and Knowledge about Electrical Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of MCC, PCC, VFD panels
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on project delivery
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagram).
• Expertise in using AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design and Knowledge in Solidworks electrical and other electrical design software is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems and components (e.g., sensors, drives, motors).
• Should be familiar with electrical Symbols, electrical standard IEC60617, IEEE Std ,
• Knowledge and hands on experience in ATEX certification, CE certification, UL certification and safety standards is an added advantage.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical design, with specific experience in areas like Wiring design for panels, machine drives or industrial automation.
• 5-10 years of experience in PLC programming
• Experience in Creating Electrical drawings, Schematic drawings and Electrical layout drawings
• Experience working with wiring harness in SPM machines, control systems and heavy machinery.
• Sound Knowledge of PLC Systems, Control panel Layouts, wiring routing.
• Experience with specific PLC brands (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA software may be required.
• Hands-on experience with Electrical CAD package experience using AutoCAD, E-PLAN or similar is essential.
• Experience in Welding Industry, Industrial Automation Industry, Oil & Gas Industry, Electric Power Generation, Electrical Panel developers etc will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Product Life Cycle Management (PLM).
• Experience in New Product Development (NPI) Full product cycle.
• Strong Experience in Collaborating with Mechanical and cross Functional teams on understanding requirements to develop and implement new/improve processes.
