The Site engineer is responsible for metering activities in field with zero defect installation and safety.

Timely execution of cases ensuring adherence to P.A. timelines, Smart meter installation for Express/KCG/HRB consumers ( HT/CT/PPWC meters) as per defined SOP(s) and Work instructions.

To ensure installation of PA and Non-PA cases as per defined timeline as per Performance Assurance and SLAs for Express/KCG/HRB consumers.

To ensure the availability of PPEs, tools etc. during VAN audit every day before starting the day.

To ensure Testing and installation of CTPT/Metering cubical and PP/LTCT meters.

To work on safety through Annual Safety Plan and ensure compliance of safety measures as per H.I.R.A, JSA, taking primary shutdown with proper safety zone & PTW booklet and instant reporting of safety related issues like Near miss, unsafe site conditions, unsafe pole etc. in Suraksha portal and active participation in fostering safety culture and ensure zero accident.

To perform other metering/commercial activities allocated by management based on Organizational requirements.


Responsibility & Skills:


Degree/Diploma (Electrical) with minimum 05 years of experience.

Ability to identify Tampered events, Meter connections.

Knowledge and skills of using PPE, Firefighting equipments for all categories and its application. Basic skills of using tools. Ability to conduct safety audit and inspection at site and vehicle. Knowledge of reporting mechanism.

Basic understanding of the distribution system Different types and configuration of 11 KV ESS i.e PL/M, P/M, packaged ESS, HTC. Different types of HT/LT Network

Basic understanding of: 1. MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point 2. Skills to Generate report, correspondence, communication
