Key Responsibilities

Test Automation
& Framework Development:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for both backend and frontend applications.

Create comprehensive test strategies for Golang-based REST APIs, Flutter mobile apps, and Angular (or similar) front-end applications.

Develop and execute automated test scripts to cover unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

CI/CD Integration:

Integrate test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality in public and private cloud deployments.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to monitor test executions, analyze results, and trigger alerts through tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar.

Quality Assurance & Test Execution:

Define, document, and review acceptance criteria and test scenarios with product owners and development teams.

Conduct both manual and automated testing to verify application functionality, performance, and security.

Monitor test runs, application errors, and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to development teams.

Technical Collaboration:

Work closely with backend, mobile, and frontend developers to ensure robust test coverage and early detection of issues.

Participate in code reviews for both production and test code to enforce best practices and maintain high standards.

Continuous Improvement:

Evaluate and implement new testing tools and methodologies to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.

Act as a subject matter expert within the QA Center of Practice, driving best testing practices and continuous improvement

initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience:

6+ years of experience in software testing, both manual and automated, with a proven track record in
building test automation frameworks.

Extensive experience in quality assurance within agile

environments, ideally with exposure to CI/CD practices.

Technical Expertise:

Backend Testing: Strong experience in testing Golang-based

microservices, including REST API validations, mocking, and

event-driven architectures.

Mobile Testing: Proven experience with Flutter mobile testing

frameworks, including widget and integration testing.

Frontend Testing: Hands-on experience with Angular or similar

JavaScript frameworks, and proficiency with tools like Cypress or Playwright.

Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Go,

JavaScript, Python, or similar) used in test automation.

Tools & Frameworks:

Solid background with modern test automation frameworks and

tools such as Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Allure.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity) and version

control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, Git).

Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and

containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Technical Acumen:

Deep understanding of test automation best practices, software

testing theory, and various testing practices (unit, functional, E2E, non-functional).

Knowledge of database testing, including SQL and relational database concepts.

Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.

Nice to Have

Experience with Behavior-driven Development (BDD) practices.

Exposure to additional programming languages like Kotlin or TypeScript.

Experience with mobile application test automation tools beyond Flutter.
