Branch Manager Machine Tool Sales Marketing & Operations

Job Title: Branch Manager Machine Tool

Location: Chennai

Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Branch Manager with strong expertise in Machine Tool (CNC/VMC/Machine Tools). The ideal candidate must have 15–20 years of proven experience, strong team leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach. The role includes leading Sales & Service teams, managing Branch Operations, and maintaining full P&L responsibility.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership

  • Drive branch sales for CNC/VMC/Machine Tool products.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve business targets.
  • Acquire new customers and ensure continuous business from existing accounts.
  • Conduct high-level customer meetings, negotiations, and machine presentations.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely support and follow-ups.
  • Resolve escalations and drive customer-centric solutions.

Service & Operations Management

  • Oversee service team for installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
  • Ensure quick resolution of customer issues and maintain service quality.
  • Manage branch operations including administration, logistics, and spare parts.

P&L Responsibility

  • Manage overall branch profitability.
  • Monitor expenses, budgeting, revenue planning, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with HO for operational and commercial matters.

Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams (Sales + Service).
  • Conduct team reviews, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Build a strong, customer-oriented team culture.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 15–20 years of experience in Machine Tool / CNC / VMC.
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery and customer applications.
  • Experience in handling teams, driving sales, and leading customer engagements.
  • Proven track record in managing branch operations & P&L.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Engineering qualification preferred (Diploma / B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical/Production).
