Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Coder based in Navi Mumbai, with some work from home acceptable. The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and clinical documents using appropriate classification systems. Daily tasks include reviewing patient records, ensuring the correct application of medical codes, and collaborating with health information management teams. The focus of this role is to ensure accurate coding for billing and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Medical Coding and Coding Experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
  • Possession of RHIT credential
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Health Information Management or a related field
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
