We're Hiring: Coding Educator – Facility Outpatient (Oncology)

Work Hours : 5 AM to 9 AM EST (Remote | 20 hours/week)

Location : Remote (India preferred, U.S. time zone availability required)

Domain : Oncology Coding (Facility Outpatient)

Are you a certified medical coder with a passion for mentoring others and ensuring coding quality?

We're looking for a Coding Educator to support our Oncology Facility Outpatient (FOP) team with real-time auditing, curriculum creation, and continuous training for coders working on U.S.-based projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Train and upskill coders in ICD-10-CM , ICD-10-PCS , CPT , HCPCS
  • Conduct quality audits, share reviews, and help coders meet 6 charts/hour productivity and 98% accuracy
  • Create and lead structured onboarding programs for new hires (30-day ramp-up)
  • Maintain compliance with CMS, AAPC, AHIMA, and ASTRO/ACRO guidelines

You Must Have:

  • 6+ years of coding experience, including at least 2 years in FOP or auditing
  • Active certification (any one): CPC, COC, CCS, CPMA, RHIT, RHIA, CIC
  • Strong command over U.S. healthcare coding systems and documentation standards
  • Previous experience conducting training (Zoom sessions preferred)

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with Cerner, Optum CAC, Soarian, 3M Encoder, or Mosaiq
  • Oncology coding background
  • Experience training coders remotely
