Company Description

CormSquare is a cloud-based e-procurement software provider with tools to streamline the procurement process. The solution offers complete control, visibility, and agility over procurement tasks. It includes a self-service vendor help-desk and automates procurement workflows to speed up processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the design and development of test cases and test scenarios.
  2. Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
  3. Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  4. Help maintain and update test documentation and test scripts.
  5. Perform regression testing to validate software updates and fixes.
  6. Learn and apply various testing methodologies and tools.
  7. Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues encountered.

Skill Sets:

Basic Programming Knowledge:

  1. Familiarity with programming languages.
  2. Understanding of basic coding principles and ability to write simple scripts.

Software Testing Fundamentals:

  1. Knowledge of different types of testing (unit, integration, system, acceptance, regression).
  2. Understanding of the software development and testing lifecycle.

Test Case Design and Execution:

  1. Ability to create clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  2. Experience or willingness to learn how to execute test cases.

Test Automation:

  1. Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Playwright or Selenium).

Bug Tracking and Reporting:

  1. Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
  2. Ability to clearly document and report defects.

Effective Communication:

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with developers, other testers, and business people.
  2. Willingness to assist others and seek help when needed.

Traits Expectations:

  1. Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
  2. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C# is a plus.
  3. Familiarity with any test automation tools (e.g., Playwright or Selenium) is a plus.
  4. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
