Position name : Sr. Consultant (IT Integration/ digital innovation) | NHA

Required Educational Qualification :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, or related field from a recognised institution.

  • Preference for candidates with Masters degree or certifications in systems management.

Required Experience :

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT system support/implementation preferably in large-scale government IT projects.

  • Prior experience with health tech platforms, e-Governance.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with systems like TMS, BIS, API integration, and eKYC workflows.

  • Basic knowledge of AWS, SQL/Datamart,XML/JSON.

Soft Skills:

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Hindi.

  • Ability to coordinate with multi-stakeholder teams across ministries, states, and technical units.

Job Description/ Key Responsibility :

I. Lead the design and implementation of integration frameworks.

II. Oversee the migration and modernization of legacy IT systems into secure, scalable, and interoperable architectures.

III. Recommend and deploy emerging technologies (e.g., APIs, cloud solutions, AI-assisted analytics) to improve system performance and user experience.

IV. Should be pro in data visualization software. Perform data mapping, spatial analysis, and data management

V. Foster innovation for process automation, real-time data exchange, and decision support systems.

VI. Collaborate with the National Health Authority, converged Ministry/Department, NIC, state health departments, and technology vendors for alignment of IT initiatives.

VII. Provide technical guidance to converged Ministry/Department team for integration and data standardisation.

VIII. Develop technical manuals, SOPs, and training modules for integration processes.

IX. Build capacity of relevant stakeholders to manage and sustain integrated systems.

X. Track performance metrics for integrated systems.

XI. Prepare periodic progress reports and technical briefs for senior leadership.

Any other task relevant to the convergence scheme.
