Job Summary:
The Office Manager oversees daily administrative operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of office activities, effective coordination between departments, and efficient resource management. This role is responsible for supervising support staff, managing budgets, and maintaining a productive and organized workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Management
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, supplies management, and maintenance.
- Ensure all office equipment and systems (internet, utilities, stationery, etc.) are functioning properly.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation for easy retrieval and compliance.
- Supervise housekeeping, front desk, and other administrative staff.
Financial and Inventory Control
- Handle petty cash, vendor payments, and expense reports.
- Track office-related purchases and ensure cost control within the allocated budget.
- Maintain inventory records for office and pantry supplies.
Human Resource Coordination
- Assist in onboarding new employees and ensuring they have necessary resources.
- Support HR in maintaining attendance, leave records, and documentation.
- Coordinate staff meetings, training sessions, and office events.
Operations and Communication
- Act as a point of contact between management, employees, and external vendors.
- Support operational needs of departments such as sales, HR, and accounts.
- Manage internal communication and ensure company policies are implemented effectively.
Facility Management
- Oversee the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the office premises.
- Liaise with vendors, maintenance contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in office or operations management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic accounting knowledge preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
