About the Role:

MakeMyLagan is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to expand our network of agents and channel partners who can source prospective clients seeking matrimonial alliances for themselves or their family members. The role involves recruiting, training, and managing agents as well as onboarding channel partners to drive lead generation and business growth for MakeMyLagan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard agents and referral partners who can source leads for matrimonial alliances.

  • Develop and manage a strong network of channel partners, community representatives, and referral associates.

  • Train and guide agents to understand MakeMyLagan's services, processes, and client engagement approach.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and business development targets.

  • Build long-term relationships with agents, partners, and clients to ensure mutual growth.

  • Track agent performance and provide ongoing support to enhance productivity and lead quality.

  • Coordinate with internal sales and matchmaking teams to ensure smooth client conversion.

  • Represent the brand professionally and ethically while expanding the business network.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Agency Management, or Channel Sales.

  • Experience in recruiting or managing agents (preferably in financial services, real estate, or similar service industries).

  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.

  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Strong understanding of client psychology and networking in Indian family circles is an advantage.

Education:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

Compensation:
