Job Description

Hiring Quality Engineer with 2-6 years' experience to review functional requirements, develop and execute test cases, report bugs, and support release readiness. Responsible for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensuring efficient testing in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review business/functional requirements, produce test strategy/test cases
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for application features
  • Report and triage bugs, ensure issue resolution
  • Provide timely status updates for release decisions
  • Participate in full lifecycle development and quality processes
  • Troubleshoot software/hardware configuration problems
  • Perform root cause analysis for escalations
  • Communicate test plans/status, ensure on-time testing
  • Automation experience/exposure is a plus

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT/related field
  • 2-6 years in QA/testing web-based apps
  • Hands-on with Web API, Web Site, PostMan
  • Experience with JIRA, TestRails, or similar
  • SQL/Oracle environment knowledge
  • Agile/SCRUM methodology experience
  • Programming in Python/Java is a plus
  • Exposure to automation tools is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
