Role & responsibilities

BM is expected to manage ;

  • Acquisition & servicing of Govt. clients in the field of Municipal Corporations, State Governments, Govt. PF Trusts, Embassies, Gram Panchayats, Govt. Boards & Development Authorities, Defence, Autonomous Bodies etc.
  • Would be responsible for handling transaction & investment banking business like Payments, Collections, Fixed Deposits, FX, Electronic Transfers, Online Payment Gateway, Asset business & other banking & financial products to the Govt clients
  • Create a rapport with the top management of all the clientele
  • Generate leads for other banking products offered by the bank like assets, insurance, TPP etc.
  • Work closely with the Retail Branch for ensuring efficient service to clients

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Should have 53yrs + experience in Government Business in Banking or NBFC only
  2. Should be working in the said location for at least over 5 yrs
  3. Should know the local language and be a local
  4. Banks like ICICI, HDFC, Axis can be focused on with other possible Banks Federal, Yes, IDFC, Bandhan, IndusInd
  5. Candidates with lesser experience in Govt business will be considered for Business Mngr role
