Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using
Kotlin
and
MVVM architecture
.


• Build modern, responsive UI using
XML
and
Jetpack Compose
.


• Integrate and manage third-party SDKs and APIs effectively.


• Implement background task scheduling using
WorkManager
.


• Write clean, modular, and testable code following SOLID principles.


• Utilize
Hilt
or
Koin
for Dependency Injection.


• Use
Retrofit
for network calls and integrate
Firebase SDKs
(FCM, Firestore, Analytics, etc.).


• Proactively identify and resolve
performance bottlenecks
,
memory leaks
, and
ANR issues
using tools like:


•
LeakCanary


•
ANR trace analysis


•
Android Profiler


• Use
Git
for version control and collaborative development.

Must-Have Skills:


• Strong hands-on experience in
Kotlin
and Android application development.


• Good understanding and practical knowledge of
MVVM architecture
.


• Experience in building UIs with both
XML layouts
and
Jetpack Compose
.


• Proficiency in using
Coroutines
for asynchronous operations.


• Experience with
Retrofit
,
Room DB, Firebase SDKs
, and
WorkManager
.


• Familiarity with
Git
and standard branching strategies.


• Practical usage of
Hilt
or
Koin
for Dependency Injection.


• Proven experience in
app performance optimization
.


• Hands-on experience with
LeakCanary
for memory leak detection.


• Ability to read and resolve
ANR traces
from Android Vitals or logs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with BLE, NFC, or real-time communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with mobile analytics and performance monitoring tools like Firebase, Crashlytics, or AppCenter.
  • Past experience in building scalable apps for industries like supply chain, IoT, retail, fintech, or healthcare.
