Responsibilities :
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications and efficient code solutions.
- Develop high-quality code primarily in Java and C++ languages.
- Leverage your deep understanding of the Android WIFI framework, driver, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), and HIDL (HAL Interface Definition Language) services and tools to implement WIFI functionalities.
- Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Android WIFI Framework APIs for various WIFI features.
- Possess hands-on experience in developing and implementing core WIFI features such as Station Mode (STA), Access Point Mode (AP), and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) mode, utilizing tools like Wpa supplicant, Hostapd, and Connman.
- Analyze and debug WIFI connectivity and performance issues by effectively interpreting WIFI Air Sniffer logs using tools such as Wireshark or similar WIFI protocol analyzers.
- Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Android networking tools including tcpdump, arp, dhcp, and netd for network analysis and troubleshooting.
- Possess a strong understanding of the Android networking stack, including TCP/IP, UDP, iptables, and firewall configurations.
- Exhibit a good understanding of the IEEE 802.3 and a/b/g/n/ac/ax) standards, including certification processes and debugging :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Android development with a strong emphasis on WIFI technologies.
- Proven expertise in developing code in Java and C++ within the Android environment.
- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of the Android WIFI framework, driver, HAL, and HIDL.
- Expert-level understanding and practical application of Android WIFI Framework APIs.
- Significant hands-on experience developing Station Mode, AP Mode, and P2P Mode using Wpa supplicant, Hostapd, and Connman.
- Proficiency in analyzing WIFI Air Sniffer logs using Wireshark or similar tools.
- Strong expertise in Android networking tools (tcpdump, arp, dhcp, netd).
- Comprehensive understanding of the Android networking stack (TCP/IP, UDP, iptables, firewall).
- Good understanding of IEEE 802.3/802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax certification processes and debugging methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Qualifications :
- Experience with specific WIFI chipset vendors and their Android integration.
- Familiarity with Android build systems and customization.
- Experience with performance optimization of WIFI connectivity on Android devices.
