Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-aid and routine medical care to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assess health complaints and administer appropriate treatment or escalate to external healthcare facilities when needed.
  • Maintain daily patient case logs and medical documentation.
  • Maintain and update the medicine stock register, including tracking consumption, expiry, and inventory replenishment.
  • Ensure proper storage, availability, and upkeep of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment.
  • Handle emergency medical situations and coordinate with hospitals/ambulance services.
  • Support campus health awareness programs and preventive care initiatives.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the medical room.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Sc Nursing from a recognised institution
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hospitals, clinics, or institutional settings
  • Valid Nursing Council Registration
  • Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency care, and basic medical procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience managing inventories or medical registers
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Experience in educational institutions
  • Basic computer skills
