Your Role in Our Story

As a Captain , you will be responsible for leading the service team and elevating the dining experience for every guest. You will support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations, maintaining service standards, training team members, and ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant functioning. You will guide Stewards and Servers, ensuring that every detail of service reflects TEHPL's hospitality philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests from seating to billing.
  • Handle guest queries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Lead the team in delivering consistent service standards across the restaurant.
  • Promote menu items through suggestive selling and enhance guest satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Train and mentor the service team on service standards, grooming, communication, and menu knowledge.
  • Conduct daily briefings and allocate duties to Stewards and Servers.
  • Monitor team performance and provide real-time guidance and corrective actions.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Supervise table setup, cleanliness, and service readiness.
  • Ensure all orders are taken accurately and delivered within the expected time.
  • Coordinate between kitchen, bar, and service teams for smooth order flow.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
  • Maintain inventory of service equipment, linen, and operational supplies.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in maintaining MIS, checklists, and daily reports.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Escalate operational concerns or guest issues to the Restaurant Manager promptly.

Required Profile

  • Qualification: Any graduate or diploma in Hotel Management preferred
  • Experience: 1–3 years in Food & Beverage Service; at least 1 year in a supervisory/captain role
  • Technical Skills: Order-taking, POS handling, menu knowledge, service sequence
  • Behavioral Skills: Leadership, communication, customer service orientation
