Transport Executive- Fleet management

Description

The Fleet Executive role involves overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the company's fleet of vehicles. This position is crucial for ensuring that all logistical aspects of the fleet are optimized, compliant with regulations, and cost-efficient. The role requires a proactive approach to managing the fleet operations, including coordinating with drivers, handling scheduling, and ensuring the fleet stays in top working condition

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's fleet at MH site
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely placement ofr all vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations & Manage driver schedules and assignments
  • Optimize fleet utilization to minimize operational costs
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all fleet-related activities
  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field,Previous experience in fleet management or transportation coordination
