We are building India's next-generation carbon market institution and are looking for a highly smart, curious, research-oriented individual who wants to work in the rapidly growing global carbon credits and climate finance sector.

No prior carbon market experience required.

We will train you in global standards (Verra, Gold Standard, UNFCCC, ICVCM).

This is a rare opportunity to enter a trillion-dollar industry very early.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep research on carbon markets, global standards, methodologies, and climate policies
  • Study Verra, Gold Standard, CDM methodologies and prepare simplified internal notes
  • Create market reports, summaries, and presentations for management
  • Track global trends in carbon pricing, voluntary markets, and compliance markets
  • Assist in developing carbon project documentation
  • Manage communication with carbon registries, consultants, and project developers
  • Maintain a structured knowledge database for the organisation

Required Skills

  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent English reading & writing ability
  • Ability to understand complex topics and simplify them
  • Comfortable reading long technical documents
  • Good with Google Docs/Sheets
  • Highly curious, disciplined, and hungry to learn

Preferred Background (Not mandatory)

BBA / BCom / BA Economics

  • BSc / Environmental Science
  • Any research or analyst background
  • Internships in sustainability, consulting, or policy are a plus
