Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Trainer to deliver training programs under the DDUGKY project. The trainer will be responsible for equipping rural youth with the IT knowledge and practical skills required as per NSQF-aligned Qualification Packs (QP/NOS), ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance with DDUGKY standards, and successful placement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and practical training sessions in IT as per the approved QP/NOS curriculum (e.g., Domestic Data Entry Operator, Assistant Technician, IT-ITES job roles).
  • Prepare lesson plans, training aids, and session plans aligned with DDUGKY and SSC (Sector Skill Council) guidelines.
  • Conduct pre-assessments, formative assessments, and mock tests to ensure trainee progress.
  • Mentor and guide trainees on assignments, projects, and digital literacy practices.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to training hours, attendance, and MIS documentation.
  • Counsel and motivate rural youth to improve participation, retention, and employability.
  • Support mobilization and placement teams in aligning training to industry requirements.
  • Maintain training infrastructure, labs, and IT equipment provided at the training center.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into training where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in Computer Science/IT/Engineering OR Diploma with relevant certifications.
  • NSQF-aligned Trainer Certification (SSC ToT) is preferred/mandatory (as per DDUGKY norms).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching/training experience in IT/ITES domain.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Computer fundamentals & MS Office
  • Internet, email, and digital tools
  • Basic programming and databases
  • Data entry operations & typing proficiency
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate youth from rural backgrounds.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in training delivery, preferably under DDUGKY, PMKVY, or other skill development projects.

  • Passion for skilling and empowering rural youth.
  • Patience and adaptability in handling first-generation learners.
  • Strong classroom management and mentoring skills.
  • Commitment to achieving training quality, certification, and placement targets.

Compensation

As per DDUGKY project norms / Negotiable based on experience and certifications.
