HR Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

As the sole HR professional in the company, you'll manage the complete HR function and report directly to the founders. Key responsibilities include:

Recruitment & Hiring: Handle end-to-end hiring – drafting job descriptions, posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and closing positions.

Onboarding & Documentation: Manage new employee onboarding, maintain proper documentation like offer letters, contracts, and joining kits.

Payroll Coordination: Maintain attendance records, leaves, and coordinate monthly payroll

HR Systems & Data: Keep employee records updated via spreadsheets

Employee Engagement: Plan and execute team-building activities, internal celebrations, and engagement initiatives.

Policy Implementation: Draft and communicate basic HR policies like leave, attendance, and code of conduct.

Employee Support: Address basic employee queries, help resolve day-to-day concerns, and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Operational Tracking: Actively track daily team progress by collecting work updates, ensuring accountability, and sharing clear, consolidated reports with the founders to support informed decision-making and smooth operations

Who Can Apply?

6 months to 2 years of HR experience or internship experience with strong ownership qualities.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Basic knowledge of payroll handling, Google Workspace/MS Office, and HR tools.

Proactive, organized, and able to manage HR responsibilities independently.

Someone who enjoys working in a startup culture and taking initiative.
