Job Overview:This role is to validate the power and performance requirements for embedded software for different processors and components of AI Server.Responsibilities:Develop test strategy for validating the KPIs for AI server Performing validation using standard benchmarking tools for performance measurements of CPU and GPU processors, Memory and Storage devices.Performing validation requirements for performance per core and performance per watt

Performing benchmarking on server components like CPU, Memory and IO Review software validation test plans and give constructive feedback to plug validation holes in the upstream/earlier validation phases - including both SW & HW.Be an active participant in vision & strategy discussions with a clear end goal in mind suiting aggressive schedules. Use prior experience of validating high and low level design, drivers and firmware for different HW blocks to define SW validation methodologies in pre-Si and post Si phases. Develop SW validation methodology for SW based on pre-silicon development vehicles

Debug issues using standard HW/SW based debuggers and diagnosing equipments

Skills:Good knowledge of CPU throttles, Memory ThrottlesGood knowledge of power management techniques

Good knowledge on standards like ACPI Spec, PM BusWell versed with CPU benchmarking tools like SPEC Int, LinPack, Cinebench, Spec JBBWell versed with GPU/AI accelerators benchmarking tools like 3D Mark, GeekBench, ML PerfExposure to running AI workloads for training and inference and measuring the performance indicators (TOPS)Exposure to running LLM, NLP and Gen AI work loads on AI servers

Exposure to different development, debug & test tool chains, any SI & SW product lifecycle.Excellent knowledge in Linux internals and different drivers

Strong working knowledge in different standards like PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, & latest technological advances in HBM etc.Strong low level debugging skills that enable the root causing of issues at the firmware and hardware level and Operating System (OS) internals

Good understanding of different CPU architectures IA, ARM and RISC VGood understanding of the Pre Silicon Development environment.Education & Experience:BTech/MTech/PhD in Computers, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.Preferably having 12 years of experience in embedded software performance validation in domains across different SOC/CPU/Server architectures

Have a proven record of technical paper publications in renowned conference (s), Patents in validation & proven track record of execution & debug efficiency.
