Our Construction industry is urgently hiring a talented candidate as a Site Engineer. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with the Architect, Engineers, and other team members to plan the construction project. You will also be responsible for overseeing the construction progress.

As an ideal candidate, you should be excellent at managing your team members. You should also have good communication skills and the ability to work for long periods of time. In addition to this, prior work experience as a Site Engineer will be an added benefit for the candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding the construction plan of the project.
  • Determining the time constraints to complete the job.
  • Identifying the raw material and manpower required.

  • Supervising along with the contractor the construction site.

  • Managing daily activities on the site.

  • Ensuring the subcontractors are following the blueprints.
  • Ensuring the raw materials used are as per the specifications.
  • Working in collaboration with Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and other team members.

  • Providing recommendations on improving efficiency and reducing costs.

  • Negotiating with the Contractors and vendors for the best price.

  • Coming up with technical solutions for problems that are causing a delay in the projects.
  • Maintaining the documentation of the construction projects.
  • Filing documents to the local jurisdiction as and when required.
  • Presenting the reports to the Project Leaders and Executives.
  • Adhering to all the environmental and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related degree.
  • Work experience in the Construction company as a Site Engineer, Civil Engineer, or a similar role.

  • A valid driver's license will be mandatory.

  • Proficiency in Computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to manage tasks as per priorities.
  • Amazing project management skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain a positive work environment.

  • Ability to deal with different personalities and remain calm.
  • A hardworking and detailed-orientated individual.
  • Ability to work in harsh conditions.
