Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer with hands-on expertise in FastAPI, REST API development, and database design.

The ideal candidate will build, scale, and optimize backend systems for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices-based architectures.
  • Integrate with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL, or MongoDB.
  • Optimize queries and API performance for high throughput systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams for seamless integration.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and API security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
  • Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile sprints.
  • Work with Docker / Kubernetes for deployment and containerized environments.
  • Ensure CI/CD best practices using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Required Skills:

  • Core Python Strong coding and debugging skills. Min 4+years of hands-on experience.
  • FastAPI Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • RESTful API Development – Deep understanding of design and implementation.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB (advanced query writing and ORM experience).
  • ORMs: SQLAlchemy, Alembic (preferred).
  • Version Control: Git / Bitbucket.
  • Testing Frameworks: PyTest, Unittest.
