- Technical skills:
- Conduct comprehensive threat assessments to identify vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and potential risks.
- Apply methodologies like STRIDE, DREAD, PASTA, and CVSS to model threats effectively
- Evaluate the likelihood and impact of threats and prioritize them based on business risk tolerance
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies, including security controls and design recommendations
- Work closely with software developers, architects, and DevOps teams to embed security into design and development.
- Support secure SDLC practices and ensure threat modeling is part of every major release cycle.
- Stay updated with emerging threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of internal threat modeling standards and training programs.
- Utilize and assess threat modeling tools (e.g., Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool, IriusRisk, Threat Modeler, any other Threat Modeling tools) and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in information security
- Soft skills:
- Strong at client communications, Stakeholder management.
- Experience in managing remote teams of 6+ and ability to prepare dashboards and report status and issues with client directly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP, CEH and relevant security certifications.
