Microsoft 365 Defender Suite is the unified suite that enables Microsoft’s enterprise customers to detect, investigate, understand, and respond to advanced threats on their networks via a combination of behavioral sensors, cloud security analytics, and threat intelligence.
Our team’s mission is to prepare and protect Microsoft 365 (M365) customers by correlating product signals with curated intelligence insights and understanding of the emerging threat landscape.
We have an exciting and unique charter to work with threats that span targeted and commodity attacks across a variety of platforms via behaviors with a focus on providing Actionable Threat Intelligence to empower people and organizations across the world to be resilient against current and future cyberattacks.

In this role, you will be working with a team of world class security experts from diverse technical background to deliver security research in the form of an intelligence service that ships continuously and contributes directly to security protections that measurably protect people across the planet every day. Your future team is filled with people who are deeply passionate about what they do, that are proven industry experts with an extensive track record of demonstrated impact in reducing the effectiveness of cyber adversary attacks. You will work with partners across Microsoft to continue innovating our intelligence practice and lead the team in customer obsession around delivery of actionable threat intelligence and insights.
**Qualifications**:
Required Qualifications
- 8 - 10 + years of professional experience in either Incident Response, IT Security, malware analysis, security product development, offensive security or tracking cyber threats, Cyber devops with a demonstrated ability to leverage intelligence on attacker methodology, tools, and infrastructure to improve security posture.
- Well versed with writing detections across platforms that assist teams to detect advanced attacks

Required skills:
Experience in working with extremely large data sets for analysis and visualization, using tools and scripting languages such as: Excel, SQL, Python, Splunk Search Processing Language, Kusto query language and PowerBI
Functional understanding of common threat analysis models such as the Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATTCK.
having understanding in Unit test of a code
Moderate understanding of Programming languages such as C#, Python etc.
Experienced in writing detections based on Network host, Os and other relevant logs.
Excellent cross-group and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate business need for detection improvements and strong ability to use data to do Root cause analysis and ‘tell a story’.
Ability to utilize data on attacker behavior uptake and global impact to prioritize security detection and remediation tasks.
Functional understanding of common threat analysis models such as the Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK.
