Title: QA Engineer.

Experience: 2-5 Years.

Location: Ahmedabad (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across various phases (functional, integration, regression, and system testing).
  • Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks for efficient and scalable testing processes.
  • Conduct performance, security, and usability testing as required.
  • Ensure testing environments and test data are properly set up and maintained.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed testing reports and metrics to communicate quality trends and project health.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in software testing.
  • Handle assigned assets securely and maintain confidentiality of credentials.
  • Report any data loss, potential breaches, or unauthorized access promptly.
  • Comply with DynaTech IT&IS policies and participate in Cyber Security awareness training.
  • Ensure responsible usage of access rights and follow security protocols in daily tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Postman, or SoapUI).
  • Knowledge of SDLC and testing lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Certification in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

Key Competencies/Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects.
  • Ability to identify subtle issues in complex systems.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, TestNG).
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Familiarity with SQL for data validation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Clearly document and communicate findings and solutions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of QA best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Quick decision-making to address critical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet project deadlines.
