Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Manual and Automation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing with proven experience writing detailed test cases and should also have some hands-on experience in automation testing to enhance the overall test coverage.Responsibilities:
  • Manual Testing:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to understand and clarify requirements.
  • Perform UI/UX, cross-browser, and compatibility testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure adherence to testing standards and QA best practices throughout the development cycle.
  • Automation Testing:
  • Design and implement automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to validate application behavior under various conditions.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
  • Experience in writing detailed test cases and executing manual tests across multiple platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in mobile testing and automation.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • ISTQB certification or relevant qualifications are a plus.
