Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Design Engineer
with expertise in
DIALux
to join our Lighting Design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and simulating lighting systems for various industrial and commercial projects, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and optimal lighting performance.

Key Resposiblities

  • Create lighting designs based on client requirements and project specifications.
  • Perform
    lighting calculations
    for lux levels, uniformity, glare, energy efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards .
  • Develop
    lighting layout drawings
    , 3D visualizations, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and project teams to develop design solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Assist in preparing
    Bill of Quantities (BoQ)
    , technical submittals, and lighting design reports.
  • Analyze site conditions, architectural layouts, and energy usage to optimize lighting designs.
  • Stay updated with lighting technologies, product databases.
  • Coordinate with electrical and architectural design teams for integration of lighting systems.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 0–5 years of hands-on experience in lighting design.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in DIALux, AutoCAD, and MATLAB.
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles, photometric analysis, and design standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visualization skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
