About the Role: Café 702 is looking for passionate and reliable Line Chefs (Commis 2) to join our small yet dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in continental and European cuisine, with a strong interest or background in bakery and baking preparations. As a part of a close-knit team, you'll play a key role in maintaining food quality, consistency, and smooth kitchen operations.

  • Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook dishes from the continental and European menu as per the café's standards.
  • Handle mise-en-place, food prep, and daily production efficiently.
  • Assist with baking, desserts, and bread preparations when required.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
  • Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and organization of the workstation.
  • Follow standard recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines.
  • Support in managing inventory, stock rotation, and minimizing wastage.
  • Work closely with the Café Owner and Store Manager to ensure timely service and consistent food quality.
  • Contribute ideas for new menu items or improvements based on customer preferences and kitchen capabilities.
  • Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1 year in a professional kitchen (continental or European cuisine preferred).
  • Freshers passionate about cooking and eager to learn are also welcome to apply.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
  • Education: Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Compensation: Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and skill level).
