Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Analyst - GBS Procurement in Chennai.

This role will be coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials.

What a typical day looks like:

  • To efficiently and accurately execute core procurement processes for assigned products

  • To identify and source potential vendors for commodities at best negotiated rates

  • To negotiate and handle contracts execution process for service contracts

  • Work on various Cost reduction strategies for the assigned projects

  • To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned, validated through procurement metrics

  • Have excellent coordination and collaboration with Internal Business Partner and Suppliers

  • Select supplier for placing new orders in accordance with approved Purchasing strategies

  • To identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes

  • Will be first level escalation contact to resolve escalations from stakeholders

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Education: Engineering Graduates in any stream

  • Experience: 2-3 yrs. in Indirect Procurement / Sourcing / Purchasing / Buyer role

  • Preference : Work experience in handling MRO commodity sourcing / contract management in manufacturing sector

  • Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle

  • Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF)

  • Highly effective communication skills with stakeholders and inter-personal skills

  • Ability to understand purchasing and procurement methods and procedures

  • Provide reports, information, analysis etc., as required, in a timely, professional manner

  • Knowledge of P2P tools - end user functionality.
