Key Roles and Responsibilities

RTO Documentation & Coordination: Manage and oversee all RTO-related activities for new vehicle registrations, transfers, and endorsements on the Parivahan portal. Ensure timely submission and approval of Form 20, Form 21, Form 22, Homologation documents, Load Invoice, Insurance, Invoice, and other statutory documents required for EV vehicle registrations.

Coordinate with RTO offices and authorized dealers to resolve discrepancies or documentation issues.

Legal Compliance & Documentation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act, EV policies, state RTO guidelines, and central transport regulations. Ensure complete compliance with RTO and legal documentation requirements across assigned territories.

Prepare, verify, and archive legal documents related to vehicle ownership, permits, finance, and insurance.

Homologation & Type Certification: Coordinate with ARAI / ICAT / Government agencies for vehicle homologation and type approval certification (TCR). Manage TCR documentation for showroom design approvals and ensure compliance with RTO/state regulations.

Ensure smooth state-level RTO approvals for new models and showroom operations.

Dealer & Customer Support: Support dealerships in processing customer RTO applications, financing documentation, insurance, and finance-related paperwork.

Train dealer staff on Parivahan portal usage, RTO documentation processes, and compliance requirements. Address and resolve customer queries related to registration, RC issuance, hypothecation, and finance documentation.

Parivahan Portal Management: Operate and monitor the Parivahan portal for data entry, approvals, corrections, and status updates. Troubleshoot portal/system issues and coordinate with authorities or internal IT teams for quick resolution.

Generate periodic MIS reports on registration status, pending cases, and completed transactions.

Process Improvement & Reporting: Identify gaps in RTO/legal documentation processes and recommend improvements for faster turnaround. Maintain dashboards and reports on registration timelines, compliance adherence, and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to streamline end-to-end documentation workflows.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with RTO officials, homologation agencies, dealers, insurance partners, and internal teams. Ensure alignment with SVMs compliance standards, ethical business practices, and customer-first philosophy.
