Job Description – Manager: Business Insights & MIS

(Reports to: CEO / Founders)

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing QSR and restaurant chain with ambitious expansion plans. The company is driven by data-backed decision-making and is looking for a Manager – Business Insights & MIS to provide actionable insights to the leadership team for driving business performance.

Position Overview

The Manager – Business Insights & MIS will work closely with the CEO/founders to consolidate, analyze, and present business data across finance, sales, marketing, supply chain, HR, and operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen, and expertise in preparing dashboards, MIS reports, and data visualizations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports and business dashboards covering sales, finance, operations, HR, and supply chain.
  • Gather, validate, and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Analyze key business metrics (sales trends, cost structures, marketing ROI, supply chain efficiency, manpower productivity, etc.) and provide insights.
  • Support founders in data-driven strategic decision-making by preparing reports, presentations, and visualizations.
  • Automate reporting processes wherever possible to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Track KPIs across departments and highlight variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with functional heads (finance, operations, HR, marketing) to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business reviews, board presentations, and investor discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM (preferably in Finance, Analytics, Operations, or Strategy).
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in MIS, business analysis, or data insights roles (experience in retail, FMCG, or QSR preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL / ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.

Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
