Job Title:

Boom Lift & Scissor Lift Service Engineer/Technician

Job Summary:

The Service Engineer or Service Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boom lifts, scissor lift and other aerial work platforms. This role ensures equipment is serviced and maintained properly as per the industry standard and to ensure machine is safe to dispatch for work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other aerial platforms according to recommended standards.
  • Diagnose faults using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems knowledge.
  • Carry out on-site and workshop repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets and reports.
  • Provide technical support to machine operators on proper use and care of equipment.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete necessary repairs efficiently.
  • Participate in training programs to stay up to date with equipment and safety standards.

Education & Experience:

  • ITI/ Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical circuits.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid drivers license (required).

Work Conditions:

  • Mix of workshop and field service work.
  • Would be required to travel in South India region to attend machine breakdown.
